With trade rumors starting to heat up at the midway point in the 2017-18 NBA season, here are three possible Utah Jazz players that could find their way out of Salt Lake City prior to the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

While currently going through a rough stretch during the latter part of the opening half of the 2017-18 NBA regular season, and having lost 13 of their last 17 games to bring them to 17-24 overall, the Utah Jazz have some decisions to make.

Knowing they are slipping fast – holding fairly steady position of 10th place in the Western Conference standings – while many other teams are starting to figure things out and pick up steam, the Jazz have to make a decision with what their goals should be for the season.

Do they hold steady in hopes of putting together a strong run in the second half with their current personnel? Do they turn into buyers and go out and acquire a piece or two (such as Nikola Mirotic) to make a push towards the playoffs?

Or do they turn into sellers, realizing that they still have many solid pieces that a few young assets could thrive around next season?

The second option certainly seems like a possibility for Utah. But if the losing skid continues in the early part of the second half of the season, the last choice will continue to grow as a greater option in Salt Lake CIty.

If turning into either buyers or sellers becomes an option, here are three players that could be on the move before the Feb. 8 trade deadline.
