Lance Stephenson ($4,700)

Lance Stephenson has always been a polarizing player both on and off the court. But Lance is also a polarizing player on fantasy teams. He seems to vary between a fantastic fantasy performance or a terrible one, with no real rhyme or reason when he shows up.

While this keeps his fantasy value low, it makes Stephenson a gamble every time he’s selected. Tonight might be one of the better nights to take a chance on him. Lance, as we know, loves the spotlight. What better spotlight than going against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers? He should have no problem getting some big defensive plays, but look for him to get involved in the offense more than usual.

He’s also got a matchup going for him. Since Christmas, the Cavaliers have the worst defensive rating of any team in the league (they’re second-worst on the season). There will be plenty of points to go around for the Pacers and with Iman Shumpert out, it will mainly be Kyle Korver’s responsibility to guard the powerful Lance Stephenson.
