With the first half of the 2017-18 NBA season officially in the books for the Utah Jazz, here are some highs and lows that stood out in the opening half of the regular season.

It’s somewhat hard to believe, but the first half of the 2017-18 NBA season has come and gone.

For the Utah Jazz, the first half was a roller coaster. After a surprisingly nice stretch to kick off the first few weeks of the season, Utah has ended up having the type of season many had envisioned it would have, sitting on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.

Following Utah’s 107-104 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night in the nation’s capital, which was game No. 41 of 82 for the Jazz, they sit at 17-24 overall and are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings.

There certainly have been many highs and lows throughout the first half of the regular season for the Jazz. Let’s take a look at a few things that stood out heading into the home stretch of the year.
