NBA trade rumors: 5 stars most likely to be dealt before deadline
1. Nikola Mirotic, PF, Chicago Bulls
Some may not call Nikola Mirotic a star, but as we’ve seen this season, he’s finally putting it all together. Unfortunately, following the off-court incident prior to the start of the regular season, it appears a parting of ways is the only outcome possible.
Right now, a number of teams appear hot on his trail. As a matter of fact, the Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz are all rumored to be in the hunt for the Bulls’ stretch-4.
It makes plenty of sense. So far this season, Mirotic is averaging 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting a ridiculous 46.5 percent from downtown. He’s emerged as a legitimate offensive threat, has rebounded well, and has played a huge role in the Bulls’ resurgence in recent weeks.
Still, Chicago seems eager to get him out of the Windy City. Luckily for them, there are plenty of potential suitors lining up for an opportunity to add the high-upside forward to their lineups.

I have no doubt the Bulls will pull the trigger on a trade prior to the 2018 deadline. Unless they somehow work their way into legitimate playoff positioning, we’ll see Mirotic wearing a different uniform before the 2017-18 season is over.
