2. George Hill, PG, Sacramento Kings

I’m not sure what George Hill was expecting when he signed with the Sacramento Kings, but apparently he’s upset with the lack of competitiveness from this squad. Well, he should have done some research before putting pen to paper.

It seems Hill isn’t very happy with this current situation in Sacramento. Not only has the consistent losing weighed on him, but it’s just something he’s not used to, as he recently stated (via the Sacramento Bee‘s Ailene Voison).

Here’s the most interesting piece of Voison’s article about Hill, though. When asked about his thoughts on the trade chatter, the veteran guard was unashamedly transparent.

"“One thing I’ve learned is that you have to keep your bags packed. You never know. If it happens, it happens. But I’ve made great relationships in this locker room and with this club. If I leave, I’ll look them in the face, shake their hand and thank them for the opportunity.”"

Doesn’t sound like he’d be too broken up about being dealt. And why would he be? For most of his career, Hill has played for teams at least on the fringe of playoff contention. Now, he’s stuck on a lackluster Kings team that can’t seem to get out of its own way. It’s understandable why he’s frustrated, but you’d think he knew what he was getting into.

Between the comments and rumors he’s already been shopped, it seems Hill could very soon be on the move. The marriage seemed odd from the get-go, and appears to be nearing divorce after only six months.
