If the Los Angeles Lakers are serious about acquiring Paul George before the 2018 trade deadline, one of these potential proposals could get the job done.

We all know about the connection between the Los Angeles Lakers and Paul George. They already tried to acquire him this past offseason, but failed to do so, instead watching him land with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Luckily for them, they’ll get the opportunity to sign him outright during 2018 NBA free agency. If he opts not to re-sign with the Thunder, you have to believe Los Angeles would be his top destination of choice. However, the rumor mill has churned out the idea of the Lakers trading for George before he even hits the open market.

Then, on Tuesday, he made the situation even more exciting for Lakers faithful. When asked about word getting out last year about his desire to return to his hometown of Los Angeles, he said the last thing the Thunder want to hear. To be specific, he told The Oklahoman‘s Erik Horne, “I would love to go back home and play for my city.”

At this point, the Lakers’ chances of acquiring George couldn’t be higher. With the trade rumors swirling, it only seemed logical to take a look at some potential trade proposals the Lake Show could send Oklahoma City’s way.
