Christmas Day is one of the biggest days of the NBA calendar, with five games on national television spread out across the holiday. The Milwaukee Bucks, a small-market team with no recent postseason success, were not a part of the Christmas matchups.
Dec. 21 marked the start of the All-Star voting period for the league. For just three weeks fans will have the opportunity to weigh in one who they think should represent the league in the All-Star game this February. Their votes will be weighted alongside media and current players to determine the starters for the All-Star game.
But there will be more than just a handful of the league’s elite showing up to the NBA’s marquee weekend. In addition to the All-Star reserves added by coaches down the line, there will be players participating in a number of events from Friday through Sunday of All-Star Weekend.
