5. Bill Walton, 1976: 26 points, 17 rebounds, 4 blocks

Bill Walton is one of the best Portland Trail Blazers of all-time. Injuries limited his career, but the things he was able to do when on the court were nothing short of impressive. The two-time All-Star showed some of that prowess during a Christmas game in 1976.

The Blazers were ending a four-game homestand with the front end of a home-and-home against the Seattle SuperSonics. Walton himself was on a 38-game double-digit scoring streak dating back to the end of last season. He had already reeled off 30 points and 19 rebounds in a Dec. 11, 1976 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

But on this Christmas in Portland, Walton and the Blazers made sure to put things away with ease. Walton show his rim protection abilities with his nine defensive rebounds and four blocks. But he was huge in keeping the offense in control with his 26 points and eight offensive boards.

A 37-21 third quarter helped Portland pull away from Seattle for good, 110-95. However, Portland would lose in Seattle the next night, 89-87.

The Blazers would push past that setback, eventually getting to the NBA Finals that season. Led by Walton — who led the league in blocks and rebounds — they would defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 4-2.
