Christmas is here! Which Portland Trail Blazers have shined the brightest when playing on this jolly holiday?

NBA basketball on Christmas is a longstanding tradition. Unfortunately, the Portland Trail Blazers did not participate this season. This year they watched the league’s quintuple-header at home with the rest of us.

The Trail Blazers have fared pretty well when they do play on Christmas. The team is 14-3 all-time on Dec. 25. Their first (1971 vs. the Chicago Bulls) and most recent (2010 against the Golden State Warriors) matchups were both losses. However, the Blazers reeled off 13 consecutive Christmas victories from 1972 through 2007.

With 17 matchups under their belt, the Blazers are bound to have some stellar individual performances in the archives. Today, we take a look at those Blazers that were at their best on this holiday. The list is simple: five Portland players that were able to stuff the stat sheet like a stocking, win or lose.

Several team legends are on this list. However, a couple of performances stem from equally-talented but less heralded players. Who made the cut? Click through to find out!
