The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up an impressive victory over the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day. Check out our takeaways from the win!

The Oklahoma City Thunder look to be turning things around. That would be tested on Christmas Day, as the Thunder welcomed the Houston Rockets to Chesapeake Energy Arena. If people weren’t beginning to believe that the Thunder were turning a corner before that game, maybe they will now.

The Thunder handled their business on their home court against the Rockets. Houston has hit a bit of a skid with injuries hurting them, but this is an impressive victory for the Thunder nonetheless.

For a team that has been under the microscope as much as the Thunder thus far this season, this is a great victory. They are now riding a five-game winning streak, and have been victorious in eight of their last 10 games.

This is some of the best basketball that the Thunder have played this season. They are finally beginning to get things figured out offensively while still performing at the same level defensively. The Thunder’s defense was able to keep them in games, but now the offense looks to finally be coming around and helping them win.

Against the Rockets, the Thunder were able to get the job done on both ends of the court. It led to an impressive victory over a Houston side that has been throttling opponents throughout the season.

This is the kind of victory that can help stabilize what has been a shaky ship for the Thunder thus far. Here are some takeaways from the Thunder’s victory over Houston.
