A group of young, talented players are emerging in the NBA’s Central Division. Here’s a couple that could pass up LeBron James.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has been the NBA’s Central Division’s best player for more than a decade, and this year is no exception. James leads the league in VORP and is third in scoring.

LeBron’s dominance will likely hold for at least a couple more years. Rumors are he wants to play with his 13-year-old son LeBron James Jr., but King James won’t be this good in six years, right?

If and when his career begins to slow down, there is a crop of young, talented players in the Central Division who may take over as the Midwest’s best.

Looking across the division, the Bucks are loaded with youth with multiple players potentially growing into stardom. Myles Turner won’t be mentioned again in this piece, but he might have the most potential out of the budding Pacers squad. The Pistons are still middling around mediocrity, with young talent that could be molded by the right coaching staff.

But out of all the youthful skill in the Central Division, here are four guys with potential to surpass LeBron as the conference’s best.
