1. John Wall vs. Kyrie Irving

John Wall vs. Kyrie Irving pits two of the best point guards in the East against each other for the title of best in the conference. Wall has been battling through a knee injury, while Irving hasn’t let an injury to his face slow him down too much.

More from Hoops Habit

Irving is averaging 24.9 points, 4.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals for Boston, showing why he wanted to lead his own team after his offseason trade request. He’s putting up MVP-caliber numbers in his first season with Boston, but John Wall is sure to give him all he can handle.

The bad blood between Wall and the Celtics may have a different look this season, but he’s certain to put on a show as he looks to lead his team to victory. He’ll have Bradley Beal to lead the way in scoring, but Irving also has Jaylen Brown to take on some of the scoring load as well.

Wall is more of a facilitator while Irving is more of the scorer. What this matchup ultimately comes down to is who can stop the other before things really get out of hand. Irving has the ability to go on unstoppable scoring runs at the drop of a hat, but so does Wall.
