1. player. 125. It’s crazy to think about that 60-win Atlanta Hawks team from 2015 and now see them potentially landing the top pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Life comes at you fast, but luckily for Atlanta this could help turn the franchise around. Luka Doncic might bring some skepticism to casual fans of European basketball, but he’s no mystery.
Doncic would bring new generational passing and knockdown shooting to Atlanta. He’d fit Mike Budenholzer’s offense to a T, where passing would become even more contagious. The Real Madrid prodigy can play on or off ball and make the Hawks a force in transition. Doncic might have the most impressive track record of any 18-year-old and the Hawks should take him if they land the first pick.
. PG/SF. Real Madrid. Luka Doncic
