Rationale:

  • Raptors forward Serge Ibaka was a game-time decision Wednesday night in Charlotte, and in 27 minutes, he proved to be fully healthy. Ibaka quickly shook off any concerns about soreness in his knee, as he bought himself extra time on the bench by helping the Raptors quickly put the game away in Charlotte Wednesday night. The 6’10” forward scored a season-high 22 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field. Ibaka has scored over 20 points each of the last two times he has played Philadelphia, meaning he could be in line for another impressive scoring night.
  • Few players in FanDuel NBA leagues have the boom or bust potential of Knicks forward Michael Beasley. In the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, Beasley has emerged as an explosive scorer, averaging 22.7 points on 50 percent shooting over the last three games as Porzingis has sat out with a sore left knee. Porzingis is expected to be back in the lineup Thursday against the Celtics, but if he is a late scratch, Beasley becomes a must-start for FanDuel NBA rosters.
