Rationale:

  • A bruise on the left quadricep of Kyrie Irving 10 days ago marked the final time anyone, or anything was able to slow him down. In his five games since, Irving has been pouring in the points, significantly increasing his value as a FanDuel NBA performer in the process. During the four-game stretch, Irving is averaging 29.8 points on 49.1 percent shooting from the field and 41.9 percent shooting from 3-point range. As a result, Irving has scored 30 or more points four times in the last five games, prompting his valuation in FanDuel NBA leagues to increase by $600 since his last game Monday night.
  • The scoring output of Kris Dunn has steadily increased each of the past four games, capped by a 22-point effort Monday night during a victory over the 76ers. Dunn connected on 9-of-14 attempts from the field, resulting in his second-best shooting effort of the year, while dishing out five assists and collecting five rebounds. If Dunn manages to reduce the 3.0 turnovers he is averaging each night, his value in Fan Duel NBA leagues will skyrocket.
