2. Troy Daniels, Phoenix Suns

A legitimate gunner, Daniels is already on his fifth team since entering the league undrafted in 2013-14. Despite bouncing around the league regularly, Daniels has managed to record a career 41.2 percent shooting clip from 3-point range.

This season, Daniels has averaged 7.5 points in 16.6 minutes per game, which includes a 43.5 percent return from long range. Notably, on a per-36 minutes basis, Daniels ranks 18th in the league in averaging 10.0 attempts per game from long distance.

His most recent performance of the season saw the 26-year-old record a career-high 32 points in 31 minutes, which featured a 7-of-10 return from 3-point range. Prior to this game, Daniels had been hitting at a 39.8 percent clip from 3-point range on catch-and-shoot attempts, and 41.8 percent on such attempts from the field overall.

Considering he is playing on a struggling 9-21 Suns team, Daniels’ ability to get off his shots regardless makes you wonder what he could accomplish with the likes of Simmons and co. dishing  him the ball for open looks.

In order to acquire Daniels, a future draft pick and a solid rotation player like Justin Anderson should be enough to pull of the deal.

As a backup to Redick, Daniels would provide a dynamic boost off the bench. Considering the path he has taken in establishing himself in the league, the chance to join a young and emerging Sixers team could elevate Daniels’ game even further.
