The Cavaliers’ winning streak may have come to an end, but LeBron James is still the king for FanDuel NBA rosters.

The first selection for any FanDuel NBA roster should be LeBron James.

For his 15-year career, James has managed to average 27.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists a game, a line only six other players in league history have ever posted for a full year.

Through the first 26 games of the 2017-18 season, James ranks third in scoring (28.2 points per game) and assists (8.5 per game) to go along with 1.3 steals, 1.2 blocks and a career-best 58.5 percent shooting from the field.

Three weeks shy of his 33rd birthday, James is looking to join Oscar Robertson as the only player in league history to post 25 points, 8.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists a night on multiple occasions.

Even after 1,087 regular season games on film, opponents have yet to figure out a way to slow down the four-time MVP.

While James has essentially mirrored his season production over the past 13 games, his production in FanDuel NBA tournament play has been unmatched, as he has topped 50 or more fantasy points 11 times during the run.

Even more impressive is James shot at least 50 percent from the field in each of those 13 games and has failed to convert on at least half of his field goal attempts just twice all season.

Any lineup, in fantasy basketball or actual rosters, would benefit from the addition of James and leaving him off a FanDuel NBA roster makes little sense.
