The New Orleans Pelicans find themselves in eighth place as December is upon us. With it being a make-or-break year for DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, here is a holiday wish list for the organization and where it wants to be come playoff time.

While not a stellar start for the New Orleans Pelicans (12-12), there are some positives to take away. For starters, they are a .500 team through the first month. At this time last season, the Pelicans were 7-15 and the questions about Alvin Gentry got even louder. Some even called for him to be fired, but New Orleans didn’t panic, and now the Pelicans find themselves in a decent spot.

In fact, this is the best start for the team in quite awhile. It is also their best roster in years. Anthony Davis has help in the form of DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and a healthy Jrue Holiday. While there are still some holes to patch up and players that need to get healthy, this Pelicans squad is not a team to take lightly.

With that being said, the holiday season is upon the league. So if the Pelicans were to create a wish list, what could they possibly ask for? Let’s take a look at three things the New Orleans Pelicans would have on their holiday wish list.
