The Washington Wizards haven’t fared too poorly with John Wall on the sideline. Now, they just need to continue to carry the momentum into December.

The Washington Wizards have figured a few things out since John Wall was sidelined with a knee injury on Nov. 24. They’ve had a few ups and downs with Wall out, but they’ve also found a few guys who are ready to step up.

The Wizards are 12-10 after going 7-8 in the month of November. So far, they’re 1-0 in December as they look to keep their streak going. Their defense is improving and Markieff Morris looks to be fully healthy after missing the start of the season.

Morris put up 23 points in the Wizards recent victory over the Detroit Pistons last Friday night. It was a season-high scoring night for the seventh-year forward as he went 10-of-16 from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point range in the game.

Morris isn’t the only guy playing well since Wall’s absence, either. Tomas Satoransky is another Washington player who seems to have found his place in the rotation. Satoransky put up a career-high 17 points against the Pistons as well.

Now, with December here, the real grind begins on the NBA schedule with a big matchup looming against a rival conference foe. Here we take a look at three must-win games for the Washington Wizards in December.
