After losing back-to-back games for the first time this season, the Detroit Pistons rebounded against the Minnesota Timberwolves and before getting blown out at home by Cleveland.

The Detroit Pistons started the 2017-18 with all the answers, experiencing few setbacks on the court. On the rare occasion a bump in the road arose, the Detroit Pistons found a way to counter by making in-game adjustments.

In the first game of a three-game road trip, the Pistons lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 99-95.

They lost to the Indiana Pacers in game two of the road trip. The loss to Indiana resulted in the Pistons’ first back-to-back losses of the season.

Detroit’s lack of defense behind the 3-point arc was a major reason for the team’s loss to Indiana last Friday. After blowing a 22-point lead against the Pacers, the Pistons found a way to regroup against the Timberwolves, defeating Minnesota on the road 100-97.

After the Pistons are back to posting W’s in the win column, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. After defeating the Timberwolves it seemed the Pistons were back on track. A sound throttling by the Cavs Monday proved that might not be the case.
