It’s the season of fall trees, cold weather settling in, food on the table and a look at what we’re thankful for. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, let’s look at three things Boston Celtics fans should be thankful for.

It was a good run while it lasted, but the Boston Celtics finally lost their first game since October, snapping a 16-game winning streak. The Miami Heat have been a team struggling to find their placing this season thus far, but after an impressive win, it might be just the start.

While the Cetlics may have had a big winning streak, it was never going to last. Boston is still the team to beat, and they still hold the best record in the NBA though, so why hold your head down when you can be thankful for the way things have unfolded?

It’s still early in the season, but this team has had a lot of things going their way, especially considering the fact that they lost an incredibly valuable player in Gordon Hayward. It was a terrible loss, but this team faced its adversity, and that’s what you want and need out of your team. Because they have faced adversity, you could argue that this team is in a better position to push themselves harder when it’s needed.

It’s never good to lose a great player like Hayward, but this team is finding ways and staying successful. Here is a look at three things that the Celtics and their fans should be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
