Utah Jazz: Time to make a move before it’s too late
After starting the season on a roll, the Utah Jazz have struggled as of late. With injuries piling up, it might be time for the Jazz to make a move before it’s too late.
The 2017-18 NBA season is starting to spiral out of control very early for the Utah Jazz.
After starting the season as one of the hottest teams in the stacked Western Conference, the last few weeks have gone the exact opposite way for the new-look Jazz.
The main reason? Injuries.
The team is without a few key pieces early on in the year after seeing Rudy Gobert go down with a right knee injury that will keep him out a total of 4-6 weeks, as well as Joe Johnson suffering tendon instability in his right wrist that will keep him sidelined until the end of November. Dante Exum is also out with a shoulder injury without a timetable for return.
In the last 10 games, Utah has struggled mightily with those players out with injuries, going 2-8 during that span and starting to fall behind the pack in the Western Conference standings.
So that brings us to the next question: is it time for the Jazz to make a trade to try and shake things up to save their season before their key players return from injury?
Let’s take a look at some potential pieces that Utah could look to move this season.
