1. They are getting it done on offense

So far this season, the Raptors have been dominating on the offensive end. They have been able to see themselves placed in the top five for multiple stat columns.

A few of these include offensive rating, effective field goal percentage, true shooting percentage, and assist to turnover ratio, which is a great place to be as a team

The Raptors have been shooting the ball very well this season. They are currently sitting on a true shooting percentage of 59.3 percent which is ranked third in the league. The only other teams that are ahead of them are the Warriors and Rockets.

So far this season they have five players that are averaging double-digit points per game. This includes players like C.J. Miles and Jonas Valanciunas who both are sitting at roughly 10 points per game.

Because players on the team have been able to step up and score efficiently, the Raptors have been able to put up wins. But it doesn’t stop there.

Their assist-to-turnover ratio is sitting at 1.6, which is the seventh-best in the NBA. This is very important for a team’s success and the Raptors are doing a great job distributing the basketball, and doing so wisely.

It will be interesting to see if they can keep this hot start going. The Raptors are hosting the Wizards on Sunday for their second match up of the season. This will be a great test to see if they can beat another great team in the East.
