10. Mike James, Phoenix Suns

Last week: No. 8 (↓2)

The Phoenix Suns have been having a heck of a time finding a pass-first point guard but it hasn’t been without the lack of trying. They’ve moved Mike James to the bench as a result, which has impacted his production some.

James is still averaging 11.4 points, 3.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game this season for the Suns, who have a 5-11 record. He hasn’t been in the starting lineup the past four games but that’s okay considering he’s a player on a two-way contract.

His shooting numbers have taken a bit of a hit, as he’s shooting just 34.1 percent from the floor and 25 percent from 3-point range.

On Thursday night, he had arguably the worst shooting night of his career, going 1-for-13 from the floor with three points in 20 minutes of action. He’s scored in double digits just once in his last four appearances as well.

He’s teetering on the edge of the Rookie of the Year power rankings, but for now, he’s safe at the 10th spot.
