By continuing to round out his game, Phoenix guard Devin Booker is becoming an elite shooting guard option for FanDuel NBA rosters.

Burying shots seems to come naturally for Devin Booker, and his increased production in rebounding and passing has transformed him into one of the premier shooting guard options in FanDuel NBA play.

The Suns have become even more reliant on the potent scoring ability of Booker, on full display over the past four games as he has poured in 30 or more points three times.

The 21-year-old guard scored his 3,000th career point earlier this month against Brooklyn. Only LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony reached the 3,000 point mark at a younger age.

While Booker has been a viable option in any fantasy basketball format because of his lofty scoring figures, he was routinely passed over in FanDuel NBA play because of his inconsistent production elsewhere.

Last season, Booker proved he was up to the challenge of leading the Suns offense, scoring 22.1 points a night and connecting 147 times from 3-point range, both figures serving a a team-high. Only scoring was essentially the only reliable category in his game, as Booker averaged just 3.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds a night.

Booker was the only player in the league to spend more than 2,700 minutes on the floor but total less than 270 assists and rebounds. In 78 appearances in 2016-17, Booker failed submit a double-double.

Booker snapped a 94-game drought without a double-double in the second game of the 2017-18 season, nearly tallying a triple-double with his 25-point, 11-rebound, eight-assist effort against the Lakers.

The Suns have periodically played Booker at the point guard, providing him additional chances to set up scoring opportunities for himself or teammates, and he has responded by dishing out five or more assists eight times in 15 games.

For the year, Booker is posting career-highs with 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.3 conversions from 3-point range a night.

With six 30-point scoring performances this season, Booker possesses a high ceiling in FanDuel NBA play each night, and with expanded contributions in other categories, he is providing even more security for anyone granting him a roster spot.
