Top 4 Power Forwards

  1. Tobias Harris ($7,200) vs. Miami Heat
  2. Carmelo Anthony ($6,900) vs. Dallas Mavericks
  3. Domantas Sabonis ($5,400) vs. Houston Rockets
  4. Jason Tatum ($5,300) vs. Toronto Raptors

Rationale:

  • The Pistons have started the season with a 9-3 record, second-best in the Eastern Conference, as Tobias Harris has emerged as the most potent offensive threat on the team. Harris is leading the team in scoring, averaging 19.7 points per game, while establishing himself as a true threat on the perimeter. The 6’9″ forward set a career-high with 109 conversions from 3-point range a year ago, but is on pace to connect 255 times this year. Harris ranks sixth in the league with 37 makes from beyond the arc and seventh in 3-point percentage, knocking down 49.3 percent of his long range attempts.
  • One of the most surprising developments of the 2017-18 season has been the effectiveness of Domantas Sabonis rolling to the basket. After connecting on 39.9 percent of his attempts from the field as a rookie in Oklahoma City, Sabonis is shooting 62.2 percent from the field and is scoring 6.7 points a game after setting a screen in the pick-and-roll, second only to teammate Myles Turner. Sabonis is one of 15 players averaging a double-double this season, posting 13.2 points and 10.2 rebounds a night.
