In Week 4 of NBA Power Rankings, the Cleveland Cavaliers disappoint while the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves climb up the ladder.

Three weeks into the 2017-18 NBA season, the league standings are still a jumbled mess compared to where we thought they’d be entering the new campaign, and where they’ll be in April when the playoff field is finally decided.

For the time being, it’s hard to tell which teams are for real and which are simply off to hot/cold starts. The Cleveland Cavaliers probably won’t be this bad all year, but they’re two games below .500. The Golden State Warriors are barely getting the ball rolling after a slow start. The Brooklyn Nets are already fading into the background after a solid start, while the Orlando Magic are still near the top of the East.

The hottest teams in the NBA right now, however, are the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks. From young players rising up to established talents coming together, those three teams make the biggest surge up this week’s NBA Power Rankings.

Without further ado, here’s where everyone shakes out in our Week 4 NBA Power Rankings.
