Check out this week’s movers and shakers in the Week 3 NBA Rookie of the Year ladder.

Another week has gone by, giving rookies in the NBA another chance to solidify themselves in the NBA. Where some have faltered, others have excelled. Three new rookies grace this week’s rookie ladder as the schedule begins to ramp up.

Philadelphia 76ers point forward Ben Simmons, last week’s leader, still looks to remain untouchable in the rankings but he’s got company as a few Los Angeles Lakers rookies remain on his heels.

Rookies have played a key role on potential playoff teams as well. The Utah Jazz don’t seem to have lost much offensively with the departure of Gordon Hayward to free agency, as Donovan Mitchell has looked to fill that void.

Meanwhile on the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum looks to fill the void left by the injury to the newly-acquired Hayward. Tatum is slowly developing into a two-way superstar as a result.

One thing’s for sure, this year’s rookie class is sure to deliver whether it’s on a playoff team or a team that’s in the “tanking” category. The Orlando Magic boast the best record in the Eastern Conference at 6-2 next to the Celtics.

In the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers have the best record at 5-2. The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are both 6-3 so far.

With so many possibilities brewing, here’s a look at this week’s NBA Rookie of the Year ladder.
