29. V.J. King, SF, Louisville

Standing around 6’6” with a 6’10” wingspan, King boasts tremendous potential as a 3-and-D wing. He hit on 42.1 percent of his shots from deep last season, and enters his sophomore year with a potentially-expanded workload following the departure of Donovan Mitchell.

Most of King’s production will come via his outside shooting, where strong off-ball movement and instincts make him a reliable threat coming off of screens and in dribble handoff scenarios. He also flashed some potential in isolation, using fluid handles and a high release point to find space and elevate from mid-range.

Defensively is where King can work his way into the first round though, as he could be able to guard four positions long-term. He’ll need to continue adding strength, but his combination of length, lateral quickness and effort make him one of the more intriguing prospects on that end.
