In Week 3 of 2017-18 NBA Power Rankings, the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies are rising up the ladder while last year’s NBA Finalists continue to underwhelm.

You’ve got to love the NBA. Even as the most predictable major sports league there is, the early stages of the 2017-18 season have thrown us quite a few curveballs.

The Orlando Magic, who were predicted by next to no one to make the playoffs, sit with an impressive 4-2 record and a high-powered offense just a few weeks in. The Memphis Grizzlies, who were considered down and out in the Western Conference playoff picture, have the best record in the NBA early on.

The Los Angeles Clippers, who have been written off since Chris Paul and J.J. Redick left, are one of the league’s most entertaining teams thanks to Blake Griffin‘s superb start.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are off to extremely underwhelming starts despite their star-studded rosters.

After two full weeks of NBA action, it’s time to take another look at the lay of the land with some Week 3 NBA Power Rankings.
