On an evening in which his team managed to let shots fly from beyond the arc yet again, Houston Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni appeared to be disgruntled that his team took 57 3-pointers against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.
"“I don’t know why we didn’t shoot 60,” D’Antoni told the Associated Press following the game. “We passed up about four.”"
James Harden recorded his first triple-double of the season with a game-high 27 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to help the Rockets earn a 109-93 win at the Spectrum Center.
Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson helped lead Houston’s 3-point shooting attack, combining to knock down 12 out of the team’s 22 treys on the night. Houston’s two co-stars alongside Harden finished the contest with 26 and 21 points respectively.
