2. Pascal Siakam had a great night

Pascal Siakam is a second-year player out of Cameroon. During his first season with the Raptors, he played in roughly 15 minutes per game but only averaged 4.2 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Last night we saw a new Siakam. He played 21 minutes and was the second-highest scoring Raptor with 20 points. It is worth noting that he scored 20 on 75 percent shooting going 9-for-12 from the field.

This is great to see if you’re a Raptors fan. This was a young kid going into the Oracle Arena and having a career high while being guarded by the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Draymond Green.

So far this season, Siakam is averaging 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, which is an improvement from last season (minus the rebounding).

After getting the start in last night’s game, he did not dissapoint. This showed that the kid can play and he is ready to take on the spotlight. Don’t be surprised to see his minutes keep increasing throughout the season.
