3. DeMar DeRozan kept his hot start to the season

The Raptors have been led by DeRozan for the past 4-5 years and with good reason. Since his second season in the NBA, DeRozan has averaged double-digit points in each season he has played.

He is without a doubt the team’s primary option on offense. His ability to attack the lane and pull up from mid-range are major keys to this team’s success, so it is important that he starts hot and he stays hot.

Wednesday night, DeRozan would be guarded by a tough opponent in Klay Thompson. He did not seem to be bothered at all. DeRozan finished the game with 24 points on 50 percent shooting and would also add six assists and three rebounds. Not a bad night for the three-time All-Star.

Even though he could not help secure the win, it was great to see him continue to play well — rspecially against an opponent like the Warriors.
