Phoenix Suns: 10 potential Eric Bledsoe trades
9. Detroit Pistons
We’ll make this snappy: The Phoenix Suns don’t want their starting point guard anymore, and if given the choice, the Detroit Pistons would probably trade for an upgrade on theirs.
This certainly wouldn’t be rocket science on Stan Van Gundy’s part if the Suns were somehow interested in a Bledsoe-Reggie Jackson swap straight up.
Unfortunately for Detroit Basketball, the Suns would be unlikely to desire any part of the remaining three years on Jackson’s contract, especially for an organization that has dealt with one too many disgruntled personalities over the years.
Jackson is only a few months younger than Bledsoe, so he wouldn’t bring much youth to #TheTimeline. This would be an excellent move for the Pistons, but it’d be a last resort for the Suns…and a questionable one at that, given the rust Jackson has showed after the last few injury-ridden seasons.
