10. Los Angeles Clippers

Bledsoe spent the first three years of his career with the Los Angeles Clippers before being traded to the Suns, and now that Milos Teodosic is out indefinitely with a foot injury, Lob City could use some help in the backcourt.

When Bled sent out his infamous “nail salon” tweet, it wasn’t long before Clippers center DeAndre Jordan voiced his support for a return to L.A.:

Unfortunately, it’s hard to make a deal work financially that would also make sense for the Suns. Jordan, Blake Griffin and Danilo Gallinari would be off limits for obvious reasons, and Patrick Beverley is not far outside of that untouchable category because of what he brings defensively and from 3-point range.

The closest thing to a workable deal might be Austin Rivers and Lou Williams, unless the Clippers were willing to throw in a young sweetener like Sam Dekker, Jawun Evans or Sinarius Thornwell (which still probably wouldn’t be enough to sway McDonough).

Unfortunately, trading Doc Rivers‘ son might not fly too well with the head coach, even if the Clippers would be getting a stellar two-way player, and losing both Rivers and Lou Will shortens Lob City’s backcourt even more.

Maybe the Clippers would try and offer something like Lou Williams and Wesley Johnson, but without a promising young player or two thrown in, Phoenix would have no incentive to make a deal.

A return to Los Angeles sounds nice on paper, but the Clippers don’t have the workable salaries or young talent to realistically get a deal done.
