1. Scoring

Scoring was not a problem for the wolves last year. It does not look to be a problem for the Wolves again this year. As a team they are currently scoring 104.7 points per game, ranked 14th in the NBA. That ranking will only improve as Jimmy Butler gets more comfortable with his new situation.

Andrew Wiggins has taken over early as the Wolves’ go-to option on offense. Not far behind him is Towns though. Towns has a team-high 59.1 field goal percentage.

Wiggins looked very confident in his shot and has improved his shot selection so far. This has resulted in him shooting a very high percentage. Wiggins is shooting a 42.1 percent from 3-point range on 6.3 attempts per game.  That was a knock on his game in the past. Last season he shot 25.6 percent from downtown.

  1. Andrew Wiggins – 24.7
  2. Karl-Anthony Town – 21.7
  3. Jimmy Butler – 13.3
  4. Jeff Teague – 13.3
  5. Jamal Crawford – 10.0
  6. Nemanja Bjelica – 7.3
  7. Taj Gibson – 7.0
  8. Gorgui Dieng – 4.0
  9. Shabazz Muhammad – 2.0
  10. Tyus Jones – 1.3
