3. The team looks comfortable together

This NBA offseason was one for the ages, but the Spurs did not make any major moves bringing in a superstar. They were still able to bring in some new faces though.

Rudy Gay, Joffrey Lauvergne and Brandon Paul are a few new signees with the Spurs. Because of this, people were interested to see how the team would mesh with each other. Well, so far so good.

In the Spurs’ system, everyone must be on the same page. This team is all about team basketball, which is why it has been so successful over the last two decades. Last night we saw that everyone knew their role and it resulted in a win.

One play, in particular, is when Gay dished it to Danny Green in the corner for a clutch three. After the game, Gay was asked about it.

Completing a play this clutch without even practicing it? That just proves how deadly this system is. We are only one game into the season, but it is looking like this new group is going to enjoy playing together.
