1. Average 15 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game

Yogi Ferrell is one player on the Dallas Mavericks’ roster who will need to put up strong numbers if he hopes to remain in the rotation. Last season, he put up 10.0 points, 3.7 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game between his stints with the Nets and the Mavericks.

This season, averaging 15 points, five assists and five rebounds per game shouldn’t be too farfetched considering his body of work last season. Ferrell put up 19 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 104-97 victory on Jan. 30.

Ferrell has shown he has the ability to play at a high-level against top teams in the NBA. With an opportunity to play a full season for the Mavericks, he should be able to max out the 2017-18 season much like he did with the two 10-day contracts he signed this past season.

He may not start right away, but Ferrell should get ample playing time this season alongside Dennis Smith Jr. and if he does, look for him to excel and lead the Mavericks to some victories on the way.
