4. Kawhi Leonard will win MVP

Last year we saw Kawhi Leonard turn into one of the leagues premier players. After showing glimpses of his potential in 2014, last year was when he finally flourished, averaging 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game to finish third in the MVP voting. He was beat out by James Harden and Russell Westbrook, who won the award.

Going into this season, Leonard is a favorite to win the award. When he went down in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, the team fell apart. After blowing a 20-point lead at halftime, they went on to lose the series against the Golden State Warriors in four games.

After this, it was impossible to not see how valuable Leonard is to this team. Going into this season, he is setting himself up to have his best year yet. As a result, it would not be surprising to see him win the MVP award.
