5. Win 60 games in the regular season

Winning 60 games could be a little high for most NBA teams, but not the Spurs. Since the 1999-2000 NBA season, San Antonio has won 50 or more games. This is an incredible stat.

The Spurs have done it with all sorts of different players on the team. Now they are lacking talent compared to past teams. Leonard proved that he had what it takes to lead this team to a successful year last season. Now he has to do it again.

The Spurs finished with a record of 61-21 last year. This season will be a struggle to reach that many wins again, but they are more than capable.

With Gay coming off the bench this year with Patty Mills, their second unit will be lethal offensively, not to mention they still have their core players starting. With a lineup like this, it is hard to bet against them winning 60 games, especially with Popovich as their head coach.
