The Indiana Pacers have completed their four-game preseason schedule. What did we learn about this team during the course of training camp and preseason?

The Indiana Pacers are about to begin a new era. All-Star Paul George is gone, and more than half of the projected playing rotation is populated by new players going into the 2017-18 season.

The roles on this team are mostly undefined; head coach Nate McMillan has a tentative vision of how he will use his rotation, but these initial plans are likely to be very fluid as the season progresses.

The preseason schedule has been completed, and preparations are underway for the regular season opener at home against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 18.

Training camp and four preseason games are not going to give us any conclusive information about how the regular season as a whole will unfold — after all, it’s a very long season and a lot will change over the course of 82 games.

However, we have been given a glimpse into what many of these players can offer as individuals, and what the Pacers can be expected to look like as a unit.
