2. Bench depth

One of the Celtics’ biggest strengths over the past few years has been their overall roster depth. That will change this season after quite a few offseason moves drained a lot of their talent.

Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley and Jonas Jerebko, are all gone. Marcus Smart will once again be the leader of the Celtics’ bench brigade. He will be joined by a combination of Aron Baynes, Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier.

Needless to say, the Celtics will be relying on their starting lineup to put up the majority of their production.

Boston may have a good enough bench to contend for the top spot in the Eastern Conference throughout the regular season, but their postseason roster will come into question.
