2. Earn an All-Star selection

If Paul George had remained with the Pacers, his place on the Eastern Conference All-Star team would have been almost a sure bet. The 27-year-old forward has been an All-Star four times, with his leg injury in 2015 preventing him from earning five consecutive selections.

In the star-studded Western Conference, earning one of the 12 roster spots on the All-Star team will be a great challenge.

The small forward position will likely be represented by Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard, so George will have to beat out the remaining forwards, including teammate Carmelo Anthony, for a selection.

George is unquestionably one of the most talented players in the league, but proving himself on a talent-laden roster, along with a star-studded conference out West, will go along way in establishing himself as one of the best players of this generation.
