3. Convert 250 times from 3-point range

The Oklahoma City Thunder are going to provide Paul George will plenty of opportunities to launch from the perimeter.

In each of his last four full seasons with the Pacers, George attempted more than 450 shots from 3-point range. Only Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard and James Harden have attempted at least 450 shots as many times during the five-year span.

While George hasn’t been shy from hoisting up long range shots, he has never sank more than 210 shots from 3-point range any year of his career.

Opposing defenses will essentially have to choose which play to routinely occur, with Russell Westbrook drawing defenses in with his drives to the rim and Carmelo Anthony ready to punish anyone leaving him open on the perimeter.

The combination will likely create numerous open looks from George all over the court, and he needs to be ready to take advantage of his open looks.

A year ago, only three players (Curry, Thompson and Harden) connected more than 250 times from 3-point range, but if George can join the elite company, he will provide a much-needed dynamic to the Thunder offense.
