2. Improve his field goal percentage

A large reason for a below-average field goal percentage is his fairly two-dimensional offensive style, as previously mentioned. Following in step with the previous goal, Bogdanovic can see his overall field goal percentage rise if he shows a willingness to fight inside the paint.

Though he is marked as a small forward, his ability as a stretch-forward is important, since he spends a considerable amount of time at the 4. For his career, he splits time at the 3 (71 percent) and the 4 (18 percent), but last season displayed versatility spending 55 percent of the time at power forward.

Myles Turner and Thaddeus Young are likely to be at the 4 and 5 as the starting core, Bojan may find himself spaced elsewhere other than the perimeter, making for an easier shot. The only concern here is this is where he is least efficient and where he should seek to improve the most.

For his career, Bogdanovic has shot 36.9 percent between 3-10 feet from the basket and just 32.5 from 10-16 feet out.

It is absolutely essential that Bojan Bogdanovic becomes a well-rounded shooter and at the very least show improvement with his mid-range jumper.
