Indiana Pacers: 5 goals for Bojan Bogdanovic in 2017-18
By Randy Porga
The Indiana Pacers were one of the busiest teams during this past offseason, and one of their key additions was Bojan Bogdanovic.
The Indiana Pacers finished last season with a record of 42-40 and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the second consecutive season. When Paul George made it known he had no intentions on sticking around in Indiana, the front office’s hand was forced into changing the franchise’s culture and overall outlook.
With the team being previously built around George, the team had to scrap its current and future plans for a new one. That said plan is essentially a full rebuild centered around young and mostly unproven talent, with no huge free agency signings.
Perhaps their best free agency addition of the offseason was the less notable but equally important move of signing Bojan Bogdanovic.
Last season, Bogdanovic was a clutch player for the Wizards late in the regular season and was the only somewhat reliable player off the bench in the postseason. He’s improved to the point where he is likely to receive a large uptick minutes in the form of being a starter for Nate McMillan.
Here are five goals for Bojan Bogdanovic in 2017-18 as he looks to prove himself as a legitimate starter for the Indiana Pacers.
