23. Malcolm Brogdon, Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo handles most of the ball-handling duties for the Milwaukee Bucks as their point forward/do-it-all guy/devourer of worlds, but for our purposes, since Malcolm Brogdon is a point guard and the Greek Freak is a wing, the reigning Rookie of the Year gets the nod here.

Brogdon served admirably as a starter for a playoff team, putting up 12.5 points, 4.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game on .471/.395/.957 shooting splits in 28 starts. However, despite all his efficiency and poise, he still might go down as one of the most underwhelming ROY winners in NBA history.

That’s perfectly fine with the Bucks as long as he continues to build on a solid debut, but Brogdon also turns 25 in December, so expecting too much improvement might not be reasonable. Still, Brogdon fills his role well, spreading the floor, playing defense and serving as a secondary playmaker.
