Strength No. 1: Youth

The Detroit Pistons’ youth and agility should serve them well this season.

Unlike in recent seasons, the Pistons have some veteran leadership under their belt in addition to their youth. Avery Bradley, Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, Anthony Tolliver and Tobias Harris can help the young guns find their way this season.

Stanley Johnson, Henry Ellenson, and Luke Kennard are all hoping to impress the coaching staff enough to make a viable argument for increased playing time.

Touted as the best all-around shooter in the draft, Detroit Pistons’ rookie Luke Kennard continues to improve and become a well-rounded player.

After the Pistons’ third preseason game, Van Gundy gave his squad some advice we can all agree on.

Preseason is, well, it’s preseason, otherwise known as overrated practice.

So far this preseason though, the Pistons’ young guns have looked great. Their ball handling skills need a lot of work, but overall they’ve made good decisions and are giving the Pistons something they can build on going into the season.
