The New York Knicks trailed once more for the entire game as the preseason losing streak continues against the Houston Rockets 117-95.

The New York Knicks seem to be stuck in the twilight zone, where each game is beginning to look the last one. The Houston Rockets did as they pleased against the Knicks defense. They showed no remorse and went for the throat the entire game, keeping their starters in down the stretch.

Something Knicks fans can only at best guess at is what their starting lineup will be with the rotations we have seen so far.

The concept of seeing who plays well with who and what squad is of no relevance to a team like the Rockets, although they do have bench players they would like another look at. Instead, they insisted on closing out the game against the Knicks with their starters every time they would inch closer, and at times this game was not too far out of hand.

At the end of the day, winning does matter even if it is just preseason, and Ws carry over into the next game, just like two consecutive embarrassing double-digit losses carry over into the next.

The buck will stop when the New York Knicks make their final preseason adjustments and meet the Washington Wizards for the second time this Friday. The Knicks will have four days for Jeff Hornacek to brainstorm and find a way to have someone stick their man on the perimeter.

Here are three takeaways from another disappointing loss at home from the New York Knicks.
