2. Bradley Beal

Some may be surprised to see Bradley Beal on this list, since you would’ve thought he had already made the game by now. But last year was actually the first fully healthy season of his career, with Beal posting 23.1 points, 3.5 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game in 77 appearances.

This season, numbers like those will be more than enough to qualify for an All-Star spot, especially if he posts efficient .482/.404/.825 shooting splits again. The Washington Wizards have a chance to build on their most promising season yet with this core, and if Beal stays on the floor again in 2017-18, he’ll be at the forefront of their surge.

For years Playoff Bradley Beal has dazzled us, only to be unable to stay on the court long enough to build on it during the regular season. That trend finally changed last year, and as the 24-year-old sharpshooter enters another potential career year, his first All-Star appearance shouldn’t be far behind.
